Club introduction

The Helsinki Canoe Club was founded on August 9, 1925, in an old school building located at the corner of Topeliuksenkatu and Stenbäckinkatu. The club is Finland’s oldest club dedicated to canoeing.

The Helsinki Canoe Club (HKK) is a multi-discipline canoeing club. We place particular emphasis on beginner training, raising awareness of the sport, and improving opportunities for participation.

HKK is based at the Helsingin Melontakeskus, located across the bay from the Sibelius Monument at Rajasaarenpenger 8, 00250 Helsinki.
